This meant that they could unintentionally influence the results of other tests.<br \/>\nIn addition, the development cycles were different, so different teams required different configurations of the class=\"text-element\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>To facilitate testing and create reliable and reproducible conditions for automated tests, QualityMinds set up a test infrastructure in-house at the large European national bank based on containerization, CI\/CD and infrastructure as code.<br \/>\nThis provided all project participants with one (or more) personal test environments &#8220;at the push of a button&#8221;, which could be configured according to individual requirements.<br \/>\nThe basis for automated tests was created, which secure various areas in the front-end and back-end of the application.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"tab hidden\" efficiently on test automation.<br \/>\nAn open source approach based on Behavior Driven Development (BDD) was chosen for this.<br \/>\nThe use of Gherkin and Cucumber makes it possible to use a programming language that is based on natural language.<br \/>\nThis means that the test cases can also be understood and written by non-technical project participants.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In addition, the integration of Xray in Jira means that not even a development environment is necessary.<br \/>\nInstead, the automated tests can be written, executed and evaluated in Jira.
