scientist and a true woman of the world \u2013 meet Namrata, member of our R&amp;D crew!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Name:&nbsp;<\/strong>Namrata Gurung<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Job title:<\/strong>&nbsp;Data Scientist<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Joined QualityMinds in\u2026<\/strong>&nbsp;July 2021<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>When I was younger, I wanted to become a\u2026<\/strong>&nbsp;a pilot, traveler, explorer, scientist, and an artist<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Education:<\/strong>&nbsp;I hail from&nbsp;<strong>India<\/strong>, which is where I did my BSc. (H) in&nbsp;<strong>Physics<\/strong>&nbsp;from University of Delhi. After which, I completed my Masters in Physics from University of Stuttgart and Max-Planck Institute for Solid State Research, Stuttgart, Germany. Thereafter, I moved to Switzerland for Ph.D. in Physics from ETH Z\u00fcrich and Paul Scherrer Institute, Villigen, which I completed just last year. I continued with specialization in&nbsp;<strong>data science<\/strong>&nbsp;during 3-months full-time immersive bootcamp at Propulsion Academy, Zurich along with an internship at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/innovation.thomsonreuters.com\/en\/labs.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Thomson Reuters Labs<\/a>&nbsp;where I focused on NLP (Natural Language Processing).
