We are currently looking for a full-time Data Scientist (m/f/d) with expertise in machine learning and a focus on NLP and LLMs. The position would be based at our Munich office or a remote location in Germany.
Your Tasks
- you perform a broad range of Data Science tasks – analysis, modelling, evaluation, testing
- you build applications using Large Language Models (LLMs) for various use cases
- you make continuous research of state-of-the-art closed and open-source LLMs
- you stay up-to-date with the newest technologies, implement those new technologies and find interesting problems to solve with them
- you identify shortcomings in the new technologies and improve upon them
- you use techniques include: RAG, LLM Agents, fine-tuning (PEFT)
- you take over pre-processing and wrangling data, including web scraping and content crawling
- you convert business problems into technical solutions
- you communicate with clients as a technical expert – for workshops, sales, strategy, troubleshooting
- you are responsible for the maintenance of models
Your Qualifications
- you have an university degree in computer science or a related field and several years of work experience
- you have deep knowledge of ML and DL fundamentals (Theory, algorithms, architectures, metrics, evaluation, testing)
- you have Expertise in transformers and LLMs
- you should be proficient in: Python and TensorFlow / PyTorch, data mining, wrangling, pre-processing and analysis as well as data visualisation techniques
- you are well versed to convert complex data science problems into solvable tasks
- you have a Collaborative and Problem solving mindset and you work proactive, self-directed, and self-organised
- you have effective communication skills – with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- you are fluent in English and German

- Experience with model deployment
- Data engineering skills (ETL)
- Experience with implementing RAG, PEFT, Agents
